While your document is vector and bitmap logo, the way Vistaprint seems to work, they rasterize your document before scaling. However, if you align the text too close to the edge of the field, the text may clip out of it. The issue is not the fonts, it's the document size. If you already have GIMP and/or Inkscape open, you’ll have to close out of them and reopen again in order for the new font(s) to populate in the font directory. Inkscape lets you align the text in your text fields, allowing you to format your work as you see fit.
